* Servings: 4

* Difficulty Level: Easy

Ingredients

* 4 white fish fillets (cod, tilapia, haddock, or halibut)

* 3 tablespoons butter

* 4 cloves garlic, minced

* 2 tablespoons olive oil

* Juice of 1 lemon

* 1 teaspoon paprika

* 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

* 1/2 teaspoon onion powder

* Salt and black pepper, to taste

* 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

* Lemon slices, for garnish

Instructions

1. Season the Fish

Pat the fish fillets dry with paper towels. Season both sides with paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.

2. Sear the Fish

Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the fish fillets and cook for 3–4 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

3. Prepare the Garlic Butter Sauce

Reduce the heat to medium. Melt the butter in the same skillet, then add the minced garlic. Cook for about 1 minute until fragrant, stirring constantly.

4. Add Lemon Flavor

Pour in the fresh lemon juice and stir well. Let the sauce simmer for 1–2 minutes to combine all the flavors.

5. Finish the Dish

Return the fish fillets to the skillet and spoon the garlic butter sauce over the top. Cook for another minute to allow the fish to absorb the delicious flavors.

6. Serve

Transfer the fish to a serving platter. Garnish with fresh parsley and lemon slices. Serve immediately with rice, roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes, or a fresh green salad.

Tips for the Best Results

* Use fresh lemon juice for the brightest flavor.

* Avoid overcooking the fish to keep it moist and flaky.

* Add a pinch of red pepper flakes if you enjoy a little heat.

* Pair with steamed asparagus or broccoli for a healthy meal.
